Addiction is inventing chaos when we are insecure, uncertain or afraid. It is a defense mechanism that helps us avoid.
We invent chaos when we over eat, over buy, over pack, over stock our homes, get over busy, over debt ourselves, over do things, or over think.
Recovering health is not easy, but it is usually simple. If it is complicated, it won’t get done.
- Stop one thing and start one other thing in it’s place.
- Clean the clutter.
- Get honest, with our selves.
- Be grateful.
- Move more.
- Eat a little less.
- Change a routine.
- Accept where you are at and believe that you can change.
- Begin today.
What do you think? What is your path and what helps you recover?

Keep it Real
Seems so simple, but … some people need a little or a big push. A big push would be hitting rock bottom ( e.g. bankruptcy or health issues) and a little push would be one day saying ‘no more’ and having the discipline to carry it out (like quitting smoking). As you said, recovery is not easy, but timing is of the utmost importance. Either it’s forced on us or we make a choice to change. I chose to make a choice!

So simple, yet it takes everyday consciousness to choose yourself. Conscious living.

I rarely drop responses, but i did some searching and wound up here Addiction: A simple path
– Getting High on Recovery. And I do have a few questions for you if
it’s allright. Is it simply me or does it look like some of the responses appear like they are coming from brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are posting on additional online social sites, I’d like to follow everything fresh you have
to post. Would you list of every one of all your shared sites like your linkedin profile,
Facebook page or twitter feed?
