It is hard for men not to write things down since they were never encouraged and support to do so considering the fact that it seems more acceptable in society for women to write things down in a journal.
The only time I have seen men write down things in a journal was Mr. Belvedere in the TV show Mr. Belvedere and John Boy in the TV show The Waltons.
If men were allowed full range of their emotion, it would be easy for them to cry and to feel pain
