Imagine what silence
Sounds like to me.
It sounds like a glass of water,
Cold and
Now filling my mouth.
It sounds like the massage
Of rain on ground.
It sounds like joy,
To me.
I imagine the silence
and I am pulled.
My soul holds the end
and whispers.
I imagine the silence
And I listen to her
Sing.

The poem is part of my way of coping. I find creativity becomes a positive focus away from negative, ringing sounds… pretty much anything is.
