Are You Waiting for Life or is Life Waiting for You?

Waiting lines.

Waiting rooms.

Waiting for what?

Waiting for the weekend, for vacation, for graduation…

Waiting for when you feel… at peace, no anxiety, no triggers, or no more sadness.

How much of our life is spent waiting to live some other moment?

As we wait for the life that we want to happen, we will miss the life that we have.

“We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering – these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love – these are what we stay alive for.”

Robin Williams, Dead Poet’s Society
