I’m Hooked, and Sometimes I like It!

What do you think?

I find it’s easy to get hooked thinking about and stressing over the things I have little control over. I can’t change my moods, I cannot erase my fears or make things easier. But I focus much of my energy on these things.

I am working right now on settling intentions. Reminding myself of my values, and what I can do – today – to act on what is important.

My mind still gets hooked, but I find intentions serve to remind me of the direction I want to go.

What about you? What helps you when you find yourself hooked by the “not in my control” zone?
